Every year at Halloween, I can't wait to see what my daughter and her husband have in store for all the little ghosts and goblins (or should I say Bratz Girls and Spidermen). Anyway, they always do up their front yard into quite the unique and often gory scene with graves, dead people, lights, music – the whole nine yards.
One thing that really stands out is my son-in-law's pumpkins. He simply downloads the patterns he wants to carve out and voila! He is exceptionally talented at this craft and has done everything from spooky faces to his personal favorite – Gene Simmons of Kiss.
He says it's really pretty easy, if you have the right stencils to work with. Well, I don't think I could do as well as he does. Why don't you give it a try this year? You can download free patterns for carving Jack O' Lanterns or spooky scenes and creatures.
