I've Arrived at Old Orchard Beach

Here I am in Old Orchard, Maine. In addition to walking the beach, I plan to do a little shopping while I'm here. I LOVE shops that sell home decor items with a cottage or nautical theme. I found that Cottage Decor is just the place for this. AND I can get a copy of this vintage postcard to mark my travels.

Because I'm always up for a new game, I'm also going to stop at Board Silly Puzzles and Games. Oh my, do they have quite a selection of games I've never even heard of. I love to use puzzles in my artwork, and they claim to have over 1,000 jigsaw puzzles. I'm going to have a tough time deciding which one to buy and have shipped home for me to put together when I get back.

Could you look around for a guy named KR Craft? He is a talented writer whose series "Old Orchard Beach" disappeared from this website when he cancelled his membership. A lot of folks miss his wit, characterizations, and well developed narratives. Some think that he became disenchanted with Gather's changing demographics that focus less on quality contributions and more on less artful distractions. I think he's refining a final draft at the request of a publisher.

Hope you enjoy yourself in Maine as much as I enjoyed the vintage postcard.
