Good Morning? It's 34 degrees out! Ack!

Hi,

It's been nice out. Some rain, but just the other day it was 80 degrees out. What's this 34 degrees? Cold is what it is. Two more degrees and that means frost. Ugh. I'm not ready for this.

The leaves are gorgeous, one frost and they'll be brown. The end of a season already? I thought it was still Autumn. No, I think it still is and after this one, 34 degree night/morning, it'll be nice out again.

I'm not ready for winter jackets and bundling up, which I have a tendancy not to do anyways. Last night, well, now it's the night before last, we picked up our son at the airport (he went for training to San Diego for his new job) at 11:00pm, and all we had on were short sleeves and it was a beautiful night out. What happened?

I'm going to pretend it isn't 34 degrees out and wait for it to warm up again. There, problem solved! :)

This is why I'm kind of glad my mom moved us out of Connecticut when I was 12. The weather changes too rapidly! From one extreme to another! I would always get soooo sick and ear infections galore! Though, I must admit I do miss CT every now and then.

Good Day Marilyn!
Yesterday they had a winter storm in New York that crippled the city and left many without electricity. Our temps the past two days in the mornings has been 27 F but no snow, thank goodness. I am not a winter person, I love hot weather. Couldnt sleep this night so I got up and made me a cup of mocha. Gonna catch up on everyones articles.

It's 38 degrees here in the Ozarks -- definitely a little colder that I'd like, but no doubt it will warm up to a beautiful day.

So sorry....I was actually relieved to see some rain today in Hollywood because its always so freakin' hot here! We're seriously deprived and steal water from Northern California....that's why they hate L.A. so much.

33 here but we are in for a warming trend soon!
OK, you two from California, LOL, that's where we went to the airport to pick up Dave from, San Diego, and he said it was nice and warm, grrrr, lol. Course, that night it was warm here too.
Kitty, you moved from CT too? I did too, went to Florida (sorry, Donald), but after about 4 years we missed home too much and sold our house (that we had built) and got out and came home, never regretted it even with this temp -- Oh, and we had a frost when we were in FL, so it actually got cold there too, but mostly HOT.
This time I'm staying here. :)

Yupp, Manchester, CT baby! I heard it's changed a lot! The area around Buckland hills has a lot of industry. I was there when they built that mall! Before that you had to drive all the way to West Farms mall. I remember Manchester as a place that the only places to eat out were Friendlys, Manchester Pizza, and that one restaurant, I forget the name but they served grapes in their tuna. hehe. Times are changing!

I do miss the snow sometimes though. When kids here tell me how "cold" it was for them to walk to school. I laugh and tell them sometimes when I walked to school my hair was frozen, don't complain! :p San Diego is nice, just don't live in the inland valleys where it gets up to 120F in the summer! I fainted a couple times!

In Central Illinois it is currently a balmy 40 degrees! At least the sun is shining, and it will warm into the 50's before the day is over. We finally turned the heat on yesterday.

OMG! Rain in San Diego?! What's next frogs and locast? Rain will shut the whole city down. I don't think half the population of SoCal know what rain is. Oh, the humanity! Oh, the humidity! :)

It is going to be 34 tonight here as well. I don't mind though because I love cold weather. I always have. It is going to get back up to 66 Tuesday morning though. That is really a big change.

It's so funny to watch the local news when it rains, they act like the world is going to end because it's raining! haha I was mostly surprised it was 65F, it usually doesn't get that "cold" till November. Boy do I know how that was when I was roasting in my last apartment that didn't have AC!
