This is to introduce Gatherites to my daughter, Maya, mother of Baby Violet, who has finally fallen under Gather's spell.
Maya hasn't a lot of time for publishing due to her Mom duties, an editing job, and a wonderful husband, but she's a great photographer and writer and I hope she'll be publishing whenever she can.
Enclosed please find a walk-down-memory-lane photo of Maya and her Mom (that's me) so you can see that we actually are acquainted! It's a passport picture, and as you may see, someone favors Violet, blue eyes and all.
So I hope you'll all be getting acquainted--and Connected--with Violet's Mom, too!

The name Maya has become quite popular nowadays but when I named my baby girl it was fairly unusual. In fact, many people didn't know how to pronounce it then.
