Verse....Moodiness

all of a sudden
nothing makes sense
even though my mind knows
but my tongue lets loose
and I behave like a virago
bitchy and unreasonable
to all those who try to reason it out
i leave them bewildered till it dawns
it's that time of the month
when no reason will get through me
to my mixed feelings, angry thoughts.
one has only to understand
this is all temporary
lasting a few days

i will be back to my
sunny, smiling self
unreasonable in other ways
which is more bearable….

For want of a better title here, I titled it "Moodiness". It's about PMS, as you can see. Can you suggest a better title for this?

I certainly remember those days before my hysterectomy ( which I'm eternally grateful for )....I loved your dry wit and powerful tone. You seem to be afflicted by it right now. A good title might be " On the Rag" LOL

I remember those days well. I used to hate PMS but was glad I still had the P in PMS and used to dread the days when that would no longer be the case. Now, that I no longer have the P in PMS I am SOooooo glad and do not miss those days, at all.

On the rag - definitely a humor tag.

This is something most of us go thru. Some more than others. WE get unreasonable, moody and pretty unbearable. But it passes as soon enough. All tghe cobwebs are cleared and we are our positive self again. I know most relate to it. Thank you all for your wonderful responses.

I will think about the title change.
