Tomorrow is my husband's semi annual appointment at the University of Florida Movement Disorders Clinic in Gainesville. Since the driving distance is a bit far for me and the appointment times make it necessary to leave at "dark thirty" in the morning, my daughter brings her van and provides transportation. Other family members pitch in to take her kids to school or do anything else that's needed.
This is just one more example of the way our family operates.

Right now my parents, stepbrother and grandmother are in the suburbs, a sister is in Champaign (southern Il) and another sister lives about a mile from me in the city. Its still hard to coordinate schedules and see each other right now though (one is in h.s., two are in undergrad and I'm in law school).
I have siblings, but we seldom talk or help each other out.
