Well, it is campaign season - you didn't expect everyone to remain silent? As heard on Minnesota Public Radio's Morning Edition:
Minnesota candidates weigh in on Foley scandal
Local candidates hope news of a disgraced Florida politician can boost their campaigns here in Minnesota. Cathy Wurzer talked with Minnesota Public Radio Capitol Bureau Chief Laura McCallum about the Minnesota races colored by the Congressional page scandal involving former U.S. Rep. Mark Foley, R-Fla.
Any surprises? (There's other updates, of course)

Taking the subject away from the war in Iraq and the fact that the republicans in congress call Bush the boss, and vote with him 95% or so of the time.
Taking the subject away by the republicans of the changes to the constitution. Thus reducing the liberties of the people of the united states.
Some turkey dude shows up just in time for the media to show all this stuff, so far it is legal, as there is a law in Washington DC that allows adults of the age of 16 consent in sexual issues.
Sad, Sad, Sad.
This is of almost no importance in the issues of the day.
Throw the bums out.
On the one hand, no, issues of privacy are not issues for public consumption.
But looking at Foley's actions in another light, we can see where his values lie. We can see the level of respect he has for himself as well as others. Those are indeed issues to consider.
And that's the rub.
