Brushing a tear from her eye, Sarah reached for the bottle, then the corkscrew, and finally the glass. Thinking again, she put the glass back. She didn't need it. All she needed was the bottle she had saved for a special occasion. This bottle was gone, just like he was.

Poignant, evocative tale. I just hopped on this fifty word bandwagon myself and its not as easy as it looks!

I know, Amanda. David makes it look so easy but it isn't. I tried a couple. I am getting ready for NaNoWriMo so I think I am going to try a lot of these little stories. I think it is good practice.
