Today I had MY OWN yard sale. I wished I had taken pictures but I was too busy working it to think of getting my camera out. On my way out to put my signs up I decided to hit a neighborhood yard sale (about 5 sales) before putting my signs up. I just can't resist the chance to find something great to sell on Ebay. I was thrilled when I found these items. I already sold one of them as a buy it now item on Ebay! Now that rocks!
Here are my items...

I got this book and another in soft back version titled the same and a book on identifing your treasures (collectibles)for 50 cents each. They sell from $6 - $12 each on ebay. I have watchers already on my books.

Vintage Snoopy Bank that I got for 25 cents. I sold one of these about a year ago on E-bay for $18!

Pampered Chef Classic Batter Measuring Bowl with lid that I paid $3 for. I expect it to sell for around $10.

Princess House Hot Beverage Mugs that I paid $3 for and they sold for a buy it now $12.99. Makes me wonder if I should've charged more! But the last one I saw sold at $11.59 so that is why I chose $12.99 as my buy it now price. $10 profit in just a little effort is pretty good I think.

These three sets of Movies for 50 cents a set! The Godfather and American Beauty are brand new never opened!

This Currier and Ives Book from 1952 is full of Lithographs... 80 of them. I see on Ebay I can sell the book for $12 (I paid $1) or I can hold onto it... take the book apart and sell each Lithograph like they are doing with the earlier books from Currier and Ives. Hmmmmm.

And last but not least... I got these pajamas along with 3 other pair for my daughter. She loved this set the best. I love the Spongebob ones but she wouldn't show them off for a picture. I paid $1 a set! Great deal!
Thanks for looking! OH... and my yard sale ... I made $145! It was a great day for buying and selling!

I need to refamiliarize myself with Ebay. I've never sold there, but today I got a book on guns that I think would attract a number of "gotta have that" types. I know I don't want it, and I'm not sure the folks down at the bookstore are going to recognize its appeal (either that or they know people who like to read don't like to read about guns).
Thanks Judy, It was a lot of work. We cleaned today too and unloaded a truck so it was a crazy busy day. My body is aching but I love to yardsale so I wouldn't trade that part of my day at all!
Recently I did my first selling on eBay. I really got addicted because my first sale, a Parker Fountain Pen, sold for fifty eight dollars. But I have had to stop because I have too much junk that I've pulled out from all over the house and now don't know what to do with it.
Do people share their Ebay user name here on Gather? I am a new Gather member and an old Grandma.
