I Hate Circles

I hate circles,
I knew a man once
he talked in circles:
around and
around
He hurt me more than once
with the same words.
He claimed "friendship"
but didn't give any
"He"
(almost as a God)
I trusted him--
and Respected
He made me see how
foolish I
Was...
the second time
around.

I enjoyed it too. It reinforces the idea that people should be judged on their deeds and not their words.

WOW! it has been a long time since i have seen that poem, it still makes me think about how much i really dislike that person.
