First, Foley runs into rehab to hide from the press, and from the law. Now, to further mitigate his crimes, he is now, through his attorney, claiming he was sexually abused by a priest for three years as a teenager himself.....sorry, I find this all WAY TO CONVENIENT.

OK. So ABC knew of this a YEAR ago and just come public 5 WEEKS before the election? Remember See-BS and Dan Rather and the fake memo JUST BEFORE THE ELECTION?
And how DID ABC get those IMs? Seem to me some laws have to have been broken to do that.
But it's OK if your side breaks the law, right?
Even Foley ADMITS to this, and further, Hastert, Reynolds and Shimkus as well as Alexander (ALL REPUBLICANS) admit to having some knowledge of the IM's and emails as early as last November...in short, they could have taken SERIOUS actions then. Stop trying to spin this into a Democratic attack on Republicans.
This is about a man attempting to seduce a teenager. This is about a person taking advantage of his position. A powerful person taking advantage of that power isn't uncommon, it is fastly becoming the norm.
Further, Congressman Ray Lahood (Republican) is trying to blame this whole mess on Democrats giving the Republicans a flawed Page System.
