Lazy Sun
No pretense was made
By the sun to greet morning
And warm my cold eyes
Though it was warned as I was
When the alarm clanged its call

the alarm and the fire alarm have been beeping and bleeping and buzzing all morning. in the end i wonder...why set the alarm clock with three kids in the house? this would diminish the buzzing/bleeping, but certainly NOT the beeping/chirping of the fire alarm. i must go get a new battery!
Nice piece, Jim!
I appreciate that, Amy. Thank you.
I'll do that, Stephanie. Thank you.
Thank you, Shaunee.
I hear that, Brandea--if I can just see it in the dark. Oh, yeah, here's the switch! Thank you.
No so strange, Juniper. I set the alarm for that ONE day when I don't wake up--it hasn't happened in years, but I still set it. Someday . . . Thank you.
