Great show last night

Last nights show was just great!...I loved the fact that the brothers won..They were so respectful of the Hanoi prison and took the time to reflect on what went on during the war. I also thought it interesting that only two other groups even looked to see where they were, the others just rushed through without so much as a look...as one who loves to travel and learn from what I see, I know there is so much to get out any and all destinations...I do understand it is a race but just to take a few seconds to look around at where you are isn't asking too much.

I also enjoyed the amazing places they have been to in just a few weeks, Can't wait until next week.

Great show and was glad to see them win this week. I would have taken time to reflect on the war also and what people have endured. Each week I learn something new about other areas that can't be easily learned in a book and glad the show is on early so families can watch together.

I was remarking on this subject to my husband as we were watching the show. He couldn't believe that the brothers would stop like that and I told him, "You're crazy. They may never be there again and they don't get to see much of it. I would take a moment, too - probably longer!"

I went on to whine about that being the biggest problem with this show. You got to go to amazing places, but you don't get to really enjoy them or even SEE them, you're too busy racing! Don't get me wrong, I like the show and the idea, but missing out on things would definitely bum me out!

I've thought the same thing..I remember once when they were in Paris only two couples actually mentioned seeing the Eiffel Tower...LOL

I was wrong to think that the Asian brothers had the upper hand in selling flowers. I assumed they'd be the "fit" for the culture. However, it seemed that the blondes of either gender (and the one dad) were popular as ever for the job. Whodathought? I found it amusing that the locals cackled at the foreigners building bricks and a bird cage. One other thought -- in many foreign countries, it is not acceptable for a woman to strip down to her bra (if that's not what it was, I can't think of anything closer to it). I wish that the American women would be more conservative in their manner of dress when in foreign lands (I doubt they saw locals dressed in bra tops).
