The summer past,
the heat beguiled,
rapturous love,
and heart filled passion,
all to the tune of,
monotone rhythm,
of rain,
soft against hard,
and then gone,
as dandelions gone to seed,
upon the gentle breeze,
and with one last wish,
I said goodbye.
