Right now, breaking news...two Lakeland Police Officers have been shot, and taken to a local Hospital. The schools are being put into lockdown, and extensive manhunt is underway.
This is another example of the true dangers our police are under everyday, a routine traffic stop turning into something far more dangerous than we can even imagine. It's very easy to get frustated with police, feel they are not properly doing their jobs, but let's keep in mind, that they have a TOUGH JOB, are putting their lives on the line each and every day.

You are right....routine traffic stop for speeding. Said person gave them a fake ID, then inquired if he was going to be arrested...when he was told they were not sure what was going to happen, he took off, and opened fire on them from almost point blank range.
Keep us posted....now that the PRIME NEWS hour is gone, we are getting nothing in the way of information on this story, so you are our news source until probably eight PM.
"Clark Kent, that law says homeowners can shoot someone breaking into their homes. The criminals already have guns (this story: case and point). The country would be a lot safer if the criminals had something to fear. " Allen P.
Allen, don't confuse the liberals with facts. They are confused enough as it is. LOL
They are giving us a brief update on Lou Dobbs now, but it's all OLD NEWS for us here, not up to the minute like you are giving us.

What if the dude lives in his car?
Yes, heard that news first thing this morning. He had dug himself into and under the root system of a large tree, then when cornered refused to surrender.
