I really like this one, only because we are about to paint and we will need some paint stripper, there are coats upon coats of paint on these old walls.

Jessie, It's amazing what fourteen feet of spruce, brass, varnish and paint can do to the imagination. I felt the glow in my stomach as it registered what was sitting on those dilapidated saw horses. Between that and the builder's widow's voice tinkling remembrance of family times with the boat, I was a goner. I'm truly glad it struck a chord with you.
Thank you, Douglas. The credit goes to the boat. It's funny. The older I get, the less things awe me, and when it does happen, it is the simple things, like what this man built with what were then, nineteen year old hands. The passion of that is inspiring on so many levels.
