If it wasn't for 9/11, this would be more of a chuckle.
Speaking of 9/11, here's my shameless promotion: Visit my Blog
Just recently the US Govt. voted to fund detection equipment at all US ports for nuclear devices. Prior to this, the were monitoring just a couple of major ports. Hmmm, why the sudden interest in all?
Anyway, they will try and hit us again. It is just a matter of time. I just wish our southern border were more secure, terrorism being just one reason.
Thanks.
John: No one ever thought that the events of 9-11 would ever happen. Who knows what else these terrorists have up their sleeves. It's been far too quiet, if you ask me. On CNN last night there was a lot of talk about the possibility of Bin Laden being very ill or even dead. One can only hope.
I think much has been done to put a dent in their activities for something big, but now it's been five years and I am sure there are plans for more attacks of some kind. 911 was years in the talking/planning stage itself. The best we can do is try to keep it off shore so to speak, but life is never 100% safe.
I am surprised that more hasn't happened to American interests or property overseas since 911, but instead has been mostly against Europe and India it seems. I don't know, maybe somebody is doing something right.
Take care Martha.
