Oak trees
Delight my soul
With their tough gnarly limbs
Clad in green for spring and summer
That show maturity in dusty gray
And later crinkle in dry air
Before autumn wind huffs
And bares the staid
Oak trees

I agree. It's great watching their seasonal change of garb, Amanda.
I hadn't thought of that, Wrick. Paying homage to the mighty oak in bonsai. Beautiful.
Thank you for that, Carol.
I'm honored, Christine. Just knowing "The Look of Oak" is out there and cherished gives me great joy. Thank you for that.
I look forward to seeing that poem, Stephen, as I do all your work. Thank you.
Very nice.
Thankyou for sharing this wonderful poem

My pleasure, David.
The smile you made me feel is genuine, Marsha. Thank you.
Thanks, Jacob. Rictameters have a fun way of expanding and contracting an idea, and forming a complete miniscule short story.
