Now, it's easy to tell someone that they have a spirit guide, but how does one connect with them. It is much the same as contacting your angels. You need to talk to them and in the process, let go of your self-driven ego. Since spirit operates on different frequencies than we physical beings do, we must learn to relax, set the body aside and allow our spirit to take over.
The best way to do this is through meditation. Totally relax your body until you are not even aware of it anymore. (I wrote an article earlier on how to do this.) Then visualize yourself in a sacred garden with trees, flowers, a waterfall, etc. Visualize the serenity and peacefulness of this place. Remember that spirit in any form is energy and light. Imagine it surrounding you and then sense your own unconditional love for God's universe. When you do this, a spirit guide can more easily communicate with you on a telepathic level.
Be aware that you may have more than one spirit guide. You might also become aware of other spirits of master teachers, wise beings, animal guides and even an Indian guide. The deeper you go into meditation, the more likely you are to open up your inner consciousness to these helping spirits.
You should also know that spirit guides come with their own personalities. Unlike angels, they have opinions and do not know everything. However, they do know you and are more than willing to assist you. Also, while angels are basically androgynous, spirit guides can be male or female and look quite different from each other, just as we do.
Spirit guides, like angels, have their own hierarchy and just as you are learning your lessons here on earth, they are evolving through helping you. As they help you, they work with the truths and beliefs that they have acquired through many incarnations.
You may have a handful or more of spirit guides available to you, but only those souls that have ascended sufficiently are allowed to help others.

Back in 1993 I met a psychic, who did a reading on me. We had adjacent booths at a conference. I was selling art prints, and she was doing these psychic readings with people. At the start of the conference, she said she wanted to a reading on me, free of charge, to get warmed up. I shrugged and said, okay. I'd never participated in this sort of thing, before, and I must admit I was more than a little skeptical, but I was opened to give it a try and see what came of it. By the end of our session, I was left with a very odd feeling. I still wasn't sure of what to make of the experience, but it was food for thought. She pegged many things about me, but most of these things could have been derived from what they call a cold reading. Among other things she said that I had been an artist more than once in my past lives. But the thing that stuck with me the most was that she said I had an unusually large number of spirit guides, who surrounded me. After a little while, she claimed to be able to see them, and said she counted at least 17. She said that she'd never seen that many associated to one individual before, but she thought I might share some of them with someone close to me. At the time, I didn't know what to make of this. It still seems very strange to me, even now. I don't really know what this might mean, but your article resurfaced my thoughts about this experience.

The holocast did happen only 6 million jews where killed, why don't they have a memorial to the other 54 million who were killed. Maybe the spirit guide of the jews have brained washed you.

I do believe in the idea of spirit but it is grounded not transcendent. The spirit I believe in and see operating on a daily basis is that of people caring about other people and providing good guidance either spoken directly or indirectly by example.
To account for those mysterious coincidences that always happen in times of crisis or quintessential stuckness my research indicates that they are derived not from a connection with a trasncendent source of intelligence but are derived from ones own idiosyncratic creative process much of which in unconscious.
I am aware that my comments for many will appear as if I am a cynic about such matters but the fact is that in viewing what we call spiritual as grounded - of this earth and natural rather than super natural - it only adds to the mystery and wonder to the experience of being alive, not subtracts.

I have had personal experience with the spiritual realm, grounded or not. I have come to an understanding that works for me, but I could never explain it in the limited space of this format, thus the book that I had to write about it.
During and after my experiences, I read a tremendous amount of material about all of the possibilities of what my experience was all about. Much of that reading spoke of these guides and angels etc. But what I settled upon was much less exciting, but far more satisfactory for a truth seeker such as myself. I determined that my highest source of truth would be my most personal connection to the realm of God, that I knew without a doubt (because of the Love) involved God.
My relationship to God is now considered my higher Self or Soul Spirit, that is my most personal direct line connection between my eternal personality and the God that I am a fraction of.
As we look back in time, as we perceive such, we will find that all spirits are a part of us in the direction of the transcendence of that 'towards' God, all having originated from the God source. Thus we can envision an 'isolation' of such spirits into specific qualifiers that meet our concept of such and place names of differentiation on each of them. I have read of people that have countless 'contacts' with their unique personalities and history's. It can get very complicated and confusing to keep them all sorted out in your mind.
These differing spirits though, are tasked with your education towards a transcendence in coming to know God as the ultimate goal. In that regard some of them may even take on more negative roles if that better serves your overall education to the higher end of learning. There is no better lesson than the one actually experienced, and sometimes those that hurt or scare you can be the most effective in that regard. History is full of examples of people that did very bizarre things under the 'direction' of some spirit. Not all results appear to be so nice from this life perspective. But if one feels that they have multiple lives to learn with, maybe it does not matter all that much. They can just come back to the next class to redo the lessons.
Preferably, I would rather have the very best teacher and go through this grade only one time and then graduate to the next higher level. I believe that the higher Self is the very best teacher for that.
So I would caution all seekers to hold out for the very best teacher, not settle for all of the substitute teachers, go with the one that knows you and your needed lessons the best, your higher Self. ... unless of course you are not serious and would rather play around.
