I have to preface what I write here with this: For some reason, my stupid, stupid Tivo pretended to record tonight's results show, but didn't, so I had to read about what happened online. I'm so mad!
As I'd guessed, Shanna was eliminated this evening. Given the strength of respective fan bases (eg, those of Sara and Jerry), I'm not even remotely surprised by her departure. Her heart just never seemed to be completely 'in' the competition. And honestly, she had a little bit of a Tatum O'Neal vibe about her (Tatum was on the show in the Spring season) and that didn't help her, in my opinion. She was a little too needy and a little lacking in technique.
I was, however, disappointed to see Willa in the bottom two! She's so much better than that; I have to attribute it to a lack of fan base because it's certainly not due to lack of skill or style. She may not be top-three material, but she's absolutely better than Jerry. Unfortunately, though, she's my pick for next week's elimination. Not because I think she should go, but because she has almost no public support.

I figured it would be Shanna too. I don't think her heart was fully into the competition and that other were working harder than her.
I am glad to see that ALL the competitors are working hard this year unlike previous years!
