Seeing Doubles

Why is it that sometimes I will get not one, but two email notices from some articles? Here is an example of what I am talking about: I published an article and someone comments on it. So I get a notice that I "sparked conversation," TWICE but it is by the same person. Am I making sense? And it is always that one person who comments that ends up making it to my mailbox in doubles.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I agree with Jacob. Also, if they belong to two or more of the groups you also belong to and published to those groups you will get that many notices of the publication. Ex - if you belong to cats, animal lovers and kittens and the writer chose all three of these groups to have their article posted to, you will get three notices.

I see what you mean on your comment, Gloria. And I know that to be true, because it shows up in my inbox as "Group" has published a new article. But I get the doubles with comments from one person, not the group. No biggie, just extra mail to weed through, ya know?

They could be publishing the article to more than one group.If that is the case and if you are in more than one of those groups. You wuill get it double and sometimes even more.
