They didn't make a good beat but they were fascinating to watch! I wish I knew if they were trying to play music or competing in a racket contest.
Rhythm Section
A beatnik blue jay
Drummed a quicktime merengue
On a hollow stump
While a gray squirrel dropped nuts
On an upturned garbage can

Jim... do they need a lead singer? :)
I'm trying to climb off cloud 9 but I can't!
The view was great and so was the rhyme!
Loved it!
You paint quite a picture, B.J.! With all the coffee houses in our lives I haven't seen a beatnik retro.
Jeannie, they were fascinating. For these two animals to be doing this at the same time within eye view was fascinating.
Maybe the duo will sign a gig in your town next, Jan.
Serendipity plays a large role in this tale, everyone, the kind that causes you to feverishly set up cameras that never have their shutters clicked--because there never is a second time, at least never in the same place with the same actors( animate and inanimate). I had the privilege to witness this "one night stand" and I'm thrilled that some of The Nuts performance could be translated. Thank you.
