Is It Time For America To Go To War With Mexico?
The incoming President of Mexico, Calderon, has announced to his people that he is going to PUSH AMERICA to enact legislation that will be fair to the people of Mexico...this includes an Amnesty for Illegal Aliens, as well as what he describes as a Guest Worker Program that will allow the peoples of Mexico to come to America whenever they want to work and visit family, with the ability to come and go as they please. He stated Mexico has a duty and responsibility to protect its citizens wherever they are in the world, and that it is imperative for the financial growth of his people that a immigration reform deal be reached with America that is fair to the Mexican people.
Strong, almost threatening words from a nation that already has ten percent of it's own citizens on American soil, the overwhelming majority of them here illegally. You see, contrary to what the Pro Illegal Movement would have us believe, we are being invaded by Mexico. If we are being invaded, if we are being attacked, and if we are being asked to absorb the costs of feeding, housing, schooling and caring for the people of Mexico, has the time come to go to war with Mexico and absorb it and it's people into America as a 51st state?
Many will tell you this is a NATURAL OCCURANCE, that these people are migrating here because they are hungry, poor and just wanting to feed their families...they have been saying that for decades, Mexico's ruling class for decades have used America as a means of releasing the pressure on the poor, have counted on remittances from their citizens in America keeping the poor huddled masses from rebelling against them, while at the same time perpetuating a feeling among the people of Mexico that we are LAZY GRINGOS.....think about it, the first thing you hear the pro-illegal forces yell, is that these people are taking jobs we AMERICANS ARE TO PROUD TO DO. Reality is, we are witnessing a full scale unarmed invasion of America, and the time has come to stand up and take back what is ours, and if that means and invasion of Mexico, war with our neighbors, so be it....radical talk...consider these actions before you discount my thinking.
The Mexican Government actually has staging areas for illegal aliens all along the border inside of Mexico. They provide buses which transport people from the interior of Mexico to these staging areas. When questioned about this seeming inconsistent behavior, Rafael Laveaga justifies these staging areas and buses by saying, "Our government has a duty and obligation by law to protect Mexican citizens at home and abroad." Where is the logic in busing people to the border from the interior of the country, unless you are WANTING THEM to break the laws of America, unless you are wanting to invade our sovereign border? These and other actions leave no doubt that we are witnessing a deliberate and malicious invasion of our lands.
Rafael Laveaga further explains these actions by talking about the many deaths in Americas deserts. Some flawed thinking here...if you are wanting to keep your citizens from dying in Americas deserts, why not stop them from coming, instead of helping them REACH THE BORDER, giving them water and supplies for the difficult crossing? Water stations on the Mexican side of the border are NOT GOING TO SAVE LIVES in America's deserts, so why not send them back, why not have Mexican troops patrolling the Mexican side of the border? Someone who cared about the safety of its citizens would be discouraging such a dangerous crossing....Mexico's government is not concerned about their people, they are concerned about REMITTANCES, and keeping that money stream open and flooding into Mexico...without it, the people would overthrow their own government within a matter of months.
These aid stations are only one part of the concerted effort by the Mexican Government to funnel its citizens into America. They have published and distributed more than a million copies of a handbook that advises its citizens on how to successfully get into America. The book, known as "Guia del Migrante Mexicano," or "Guide for the Mexican Migrant," is full of hints on how to avoid apprehension by American Authorities.
These aid stations in Mexico are funded and banned by the Federal Government of Mexico under Grupo Beta. With a fleet of bright orange trucks, Grupo Beta's job is to protect migrants along the border, not arrest them. You'll not find these Grupo Beta trucks on Mexico's Southern Border...there, they use armed troops and BRUTAL FORCE to turn back immigrants wanting into Mexico. Grupo Beta routinely works with Mexico's military and province police to SAFELY MOVE their citizens into areas free of Minutemen, routinely share information on recent sightings of our Border Patrol. They have gone as far as to hand out fliers warning their citizens heading towards the border of armed vigilantes (Minutemen).
The situation has gotten so bad, that last year Arizona's governor had to declare a state of Emergency so that he could justify putting National Guard troops on the border...it was this action that forced Bush's hand. Mexico's Foreign Relations Secretariat immediately chastised the action of Governor Richardson, claiming his actions ran contrary to the spirit of cooperation between the two countries....WHAT COOPERATION, Mexico is doing NOTHING to stop the flood of its citizens coming to America, but is fully cooperating with and aiding in it occurring.
The time has come for America to mass troops on our border with Mexico, time to protect our Engineering Corps as they push far enough into Mexico to bulldoze down these aid stations, and create a buffer zone similar to the one which exists between North and South Korea. Mexico has shown they do not respect us, or our sovereign border...in short they have declared and unarmed war against America and the time for action has arrived...if that means war, so be it.

My neck of the woods is so overrun with illegals it disgusting! Nothing much gets done about though and even when it does they don't get deported. The residents are disgusted, local law enforcement is disgusted........so far they (local officers) haven't given up trying but I'm afraid they will as all their efforts are usually for naught.
As I pointed out in my post, ten percent of Mexico's population here in America, since we are spending as much as we are in rasing their people, we should just conquer them...which is what my post is about. Not a civil war, but a war wherein AMerica conquers and absorbs Mexico, divides it up into four or five new states within America. Seems only fair....Mexico is flooding our nation, and expecting us to care for them. Mexico is demanding that Americans foot the bill to rebuild their nation....in fact, there is a portion of the North American Union documents that calls for just that reality. If America has to rebuild Mexico, train, feed and cloth its people, we might as well OWN IT.
If there is a civil war within Mexico, we might as well strike while the iron is hot....if they have internal strife, we could be in Mexico City before we met any real resistence.
A border wall is not going to work, a take over of Mexico is not going to happen, you can hate Mexicans, or for that matter all Latinos, but you should know this for a fact: Mexicanos or Latinos are not going anywhere any time soon.
So then, what next?
Now, having said that. I think too much time is spent thinking up all these formulas about how to 'get rid of Mexicans' that no one actually comes up with a sound and realistic solution. Follow me?
My complaint has not been with Mexicans, it has been with ILLEGAL MEXICANS. The government is using America, and orchestrating this unarmed invasion. So, in declaring war on Mexico, toppling its corrupt government, and absorbing its land into America, every one wins. The Mexicans coming here to find jobs don't have to worry about being criminals, they are now a part of Mexico. Those poor starving families will see prosparity come to their lands as American ingenuity takes a poorly functioning country, and turns it around into a successful full partner in the United States of America. If as they say, all these illegals and their supporters are wanting what is best for these people, they should embrace this war.
They would have good jobs, prosparity would come to their lands, and their children would recieve proper educations. It's a win/win with the only loser the corrupt government that has ruled Mexico for far to long.
Don't put words in my mouth....contrary to how you and snobia would like to paint me, I have many friends who are BROWN PEOPLE, and most of them don't like ILLEGAL ALIENS. Further, I have explained in other posts how I know certain individuals are illegal. Secondly, if you want to find out who is illegal, go spend a day at the local court house.
Latino's want to play the race card because it suits them, their people as it were are 80 percent of the problem. So, to try to force their AMNESTY AGENDA, they claim we are bigots and racists if we oppose letting these illegals remain in America.
Most of Mexico is under developed with the exception of a few such as Mexico city. What would happen is that most of our newly encapsulated citizens is that a large majority would migrate north into what would now be considered the Northern United States, starting from Texas, Arizona, NM, CA and all the way north to Maine and Washington State.
These cities would become overcrowded and the cities finances would be overwhelmed, causing some to become insolvent and drive the cities into bankruptcy.
Unfortunately, your solution would make the current situation horribly worse and would in my opinion drive the U.S. into third world status.
There is some serious money that would love to invest in Mexico, but their laws make it beyond serious thought right now. If Mexico became part of America, you would see a building BOOM unlike anything we have seen in decades, if not centuries. Look at the amount of shore line that is undeveloped. Public infrastructure, such as schools, water plants, sewage treatment plants, medical facilities all funded through government bonds would create plenty of jobs. Boomers anxious to secure property in warmer climates at bargain prices would flock their in droves, and since Mexico would be a part of America, would bring their MONEY WITH THEM. Ten Million boomers buying a townhouse, condo or home in Mexico would create millions of jobs in the service sector as department stores, eateries, bars and medical facilites rushed in to cater to their needs. The only negative for the people of Mexico, is the loss of their flag.
Put a Pres. in the White House with enough cojones to pull it off? Never happen!
The only losers in such a plan are the rich and elite of Mexico...but, one would assume that Obrador has enough pull with the lower class to make this work...in fact, one would assume such a war as I propose would see them fighting on our side.
Remember the Alamo...
People are complex and eliminating the criminal element in Mexico as you put it- nice dream...we cant eliminate the criminal element here in our own country, and overseas, for that matter...and alot of it co-exists with some powerful forces in our country...so...honestly like a few people have said, dont see it happening.
That money is not going to invest in Mexico right now when their assets could be nationalized in the blink of and eye as Mexico did with the oil.
My point is simple....if we are expected to sacrifice to rebuild a place, it should be OUR PLACE, if we are expected to care for tens of millions of a places citizens, they should be our citizens....so, simple solution....conquer Mexico, and absorb it into America.
Yet, people like you want to put us in American in a lose lose situation, while Mexico and its citizens are in a win win situation. Sorry, but if we here in America are going to spend TRILLIONS of dollars, it should be spent on something that IS OURS.

In your version, America would become Mexico's protectorate, spend our money rebuilding it, while they maintain their sovereign borders, their government.
