Just One Step

I will take just one step at a time along my spiritual pathway into my unknown future. 

 

I feel brave knowing I am not alone in this journey of a thousand steps.  It comforts me to know that those who have gone on before me are waiting to hold my hand and guide me; letting me know that if I am only willing, I will not fail.  

 

I feel happy because I know that the energy is changing around me.  Negativity still attempts to bombard me and coerce me into thinking that I am defenseless.  However, through shear strength and determination I am moving into a more positive realm where I have control over what happens to me.  It has been a long journey up until now in order to realize that it's "my" destiny, not anyone else's.   

 

I am excited and at peace.

Spiritual journeys/paths is at times not our decision. We choose, but at times get drawn into a realm where we dont feel safe....only to learn that this too had a bigger meaning at the end! Loads of good wishes!

I am excited and at peace. Realization of the meaning of our life's experiences can bring sadness, guilt, despire or it can bring us peace. I am glad you chose peace. Keep being excited by life.

I needed to read this piece right now, I have just had a telephone job interview, and because it was all in french, I am not sure how well I did. But thank you for reminding me not to think negatively about it.

Your Spiritual Growth is like climbing a mountain....one step at a time...till You reach your projected goal...the top. Sometimes we fall back a few steps but we pick ourseves up and work harder the next time.

"Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions." His Holiness the Dalai Lama has said many wise things, and this thought has been said a thousand different ways. I usually say, "Be happy with who you are and all else will follow." I do believe that if you aren't 'in a good way' (honest, happy, loving) with yourself that you can't really extend the same successfully to anyone else. Good positive affirmation here! Wishing you laughter
