Fear, or knowledge of history?

I think there must be a pack of people who scour the Gather postings for anything that amounts to real concern for our country, and when they find an article that points out anything that might go against their beliefs, they label it as "fear mongering" and poo-poo it as baseless. Well, you know what you young whipper-snappers? You need to take a few hours and think about the fact that you could be WRONG.

Some of us have been around long enough to have personal knowledge and experience with how our country has been run, the ramifications of poor policies, and right or left wing ideals, to make informed decisions and have opinions that have nothing to do with FEAR.
