With apologies to Jar-Jar Binks, but, "it's ouch time" for Republicans. Sounds to me like Joe Scarborough just began the first battle of a Republican civil war. As advice goes, it's all great advice for House and Senate Republicans, but you know what, it's even better advice for House and Senate Democrats and candidates: Bush should be hung on every Republican member of Congress' neck like a dead, smelly, maggot infested albatross.
Every commercial should start with this question: "Have you had enough?"
The middle of the commercial there should be a quote about getting bin Laden and the evil doers, "dead or alive."
Followed up with, "Bush now says the killer of almost 3,000 Americans is "not a top priority use of American resources."
And then the ad should end: "Had Enough?" Vote for Candidate X on election day.
Rinse and repeat to at least a House Majority.

"But these Republicans have one advantage that Clinton's party lacked in 1994: Their opponents are Democrats. The Party of Pelosi. The party that is so tongue-tied on its best political issue that I still can't tell you where it stands on Iraq. Nor can they explain how they would balance the budget or stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons."
I also sense the command by Mistress Pelosi to "Shut Up!" regarding any hint of impeachment plans. It is too late. There is a case being built.
The saving grace of Republicans will be the constant image of Pelosi, or Murtha, as House Speaker. Third in line is too close for most rational Americans! That should be the message from every Republican. At least we all know Bush has something neither of these flakes can claim, Balls!
The hug and mug, chit-chat, play nice with them and they'll play nice with us idealogy is not going to be tolerated post 9-11.
Iran having a Nuke is fa real threat to all we know, esp. in the hands of a certified maniac that wants war to bring a child that fell in a well a few thousand years will reappear to rule the world, the 12th Caliphate.
I pray we not leave that in the hands of weak sisters like the slaves to the Soros dollars. Make no mistake, there is an agenda, and Soros knows whats best for the Liberals, thus this country. I also find it real interesting they voice the same agendas as many Islamic websites. The real bully on the playground is the U.S.A. We have billions to save their sorry asses (Indonisia, Darfur, etc.). No, just think of the shadow of Carter and all his ilk.
Also, be prepared regarding the marching chants of your heros, "No WMD's"!
I refer you to the new book by by Georges Sada "SADDAM'S SECRETS". He was a General in the Iraqi airforce and moved the WMD's by plane to Syria. He has spoken to congressional reps. A CIA agent on the ground pre-war knows there are bunkers that are now submerged under the rivers in Iraq. These are not pre-1991 stuff.
Do not be surprised by an 'Oct. surprise'. The wind will be taken quickly out of the sails of "liars led us into an illegal war".
You will see we did the right thing in Iraq, and will do the right thing in Iran. Unless we have a bunch of talkers instead of leaders heading our government.
So gloat and dare not seek further information. I know you enjoy thinking you are all smarter and more committed to this country than some dumb-ass cowboy from Texas.
This attitude is so incredibly one-dimensional and immature. Can't you find something better to do than demonizing your neighbors? I'm not afraid of you -- I pity you, holed up with all your pointless hatred eating at your guts. Remember, respect is earned, not demanded. All the Bush crowd would have to do to regain the respect of the American public would be to actually accomplish something meaningful, do something right for a change, and stop vomiting hate over everyone else.
Bush lied repeatedly about Saddam's threat from 2001, ignoring the views of our intelligence.
The UN teams had already cleared out Saddam's weapons by 1998. Valerie Plame's high-priority CIA team , working undercover in Iraq until 2003, and with contacts with many of Saddam's scientists, found no evidence of new weapons programs. The CIA in DC agreed. This finding was confirmed by the UN inspectors before Bush cancelled negotiations with Saddam and invaded.
I'm going to post about your comment at some point very soon. I will email you when I do. You make a lot of very congent and important points.
