Barns and Noble CAN use more then one card (gift card) online see email below.

I wrote Barns and Noble and asked whats up with not being able to use 2 or more gift carda at once??? or words to that effect.

 

This was the response:

Dear Mr. Townsend,

Thank you for your email.

We apologize for the confusion with using gift cards online.

You may redeem multiple gift cards on one order. The system is set up to
take one Gift card and 1 credit card or two credit cards. The steps
listed below can be used for one Gift card or if your have multiple gift
cards to apply to one order.

The Barnes & Noble Gift Card can be redeemed in stores or online at
www.bn.com. Simply present your Gift Card to the Bookseller at the time
of purchase, or follow these easy steps to use your Gift Card online:

1. Go to www.bn.com and add items to your Shopping Cart.

2. When you are ready to complete your purchase, click Check Out.

3. On the Payment page, select the Barnes & Noble Gift Card, and enter
the Gift Card number located on the back of the card in the space
provided.

4. You will be prompted to enter the four-digit PIN (Personal
Identification Number) that is located above the Gift Card number.
Scratch off the back to reveal this number.  Please note:   Not all Gift
Cards have a PIN. If your card does not have a PIN, you do not need to
enter one.

5. Click Continue to provide your billing address.

6. If the balance available on your Gift Card is less than the total
amount of your order, you will be prompted to provide credit card
information or to choose Pay by Phone.

7. Click Send My Order when you are ready to submit your order.

If you are unable to apply the Gift Card online, complete your order and
email us or call Customer Service with your order number and the Gift
Card number. One of our representatives will apply the Gift Card to your
