I call my sister at least twice during the week to chat and find out that all is well' she is the youngest and has four school and college going children.
Well almost everytime there are some kind of worries about school and teaching----
'One point was that Teachers are not aware of 'written work checking rules'
'you know the whole sentence is underlined in red and the mistake is not clarified'
Education Teaching and Professional Development is now gaining awareness in our side of the world.....
when all quality training will be effective ?
I have no idea at all!
An ELT Conference is currently taking place and all these points are being discussed. I hope some serious effort will be implemented soon.

I had a college professor that made a color-coded chart and handed it out at the beginning of the semester. Each color stood for a certain type of error (he was an English professor). He would mark our papers with several different colors of Sharpie pens and we would know what the error was by the color he used. This made it much easier to correct our papers then having a bunch of red circles all over the page.
