I went in this past week to start my finacial aid for 2006-2007 school year(I started originally in the fall, too). After having to drop from any physical classes this past spring, I learned I'll have to start paying back my loans as soon as I graduate. Bummer...but with job placement, hopefully it won't be too bad....
Anyways, I was given a nice bit of news: I Only have 2.75 quarters left till graduation!!!! I thought I'd at least another full year after '07, but--YAY!!!!!! It was like the upper for my weekend. I could've sworn that when I started, they told me full-time would be 18 months, so I thought part-time would be closer to 3 years...my mistake, and it's for the good! LOL So I'm actually looking forward to biomechanics! (Taught by the same instructor as Kinesiology--I only got a C, but damn I worked my butt off!) Hoping to keep the GPA over 3.0 (just barely, but 15 years between high school and this--I think I'm doing pretty good) . I'm nervous too, but hopefully this will provide the stability I've been looking for and maybe something nice on the side for my family...
Who knew it could go by so fast. And the classes one has to have just to become a massage therapist! I like them, although my favorites have been the hardest for me(medical terminology, kinesiology). My boyfriend likes to say that I'm in school just for the certificate--I don't need the training. Lol, flattery works.
Funny thing is, everyone thinks I'm in it just for $$$! I want stability. Pretty much anything medical should be stable, and this way, I can still have the on the side thing for back up. I'm extremely nervous, though...I'm not good in groups of more than, say, 6? Lol, class is different, and after training it should be more like one on one.
Anyways, looking forward to being in school again come October.
