I did a quick GOOGLE search tonight for FAKE ID, Illegal Aliens and came up with over 7100 pages of links to articles on the issue...ten links a page, that is a lot of Newspaper ink dedicated over to this topic.
Now, Pro AMNESTY groups that support ILLEGAL ALIENS would have us believe these people are just poor hard working folks looking to make a living, trying to put food on the table...one word though you rarely will see is HONEST. If someone is in America ILLEGALLY, they know they are breaking our laws, and are guilty of no less than four criminal charges...which brings us to FAKE ID's.
Those selling fake id's are breaking the law, committing a criminal act, or several. What about the illegal aliens? YES, they to are breaking the law, and doing it KNOWINGLY, DELIBERATELY. Further, when they begin USING this fake ID, that is ANOTHER CRIME, and each incident of use for a different purpose is another crime...fill out three applications for credit cards, get three credit cards, each of those is a crime.
As Americans, if the police knock on our door because we have been using a stolen ID to commit fraud, we are going to face criminal charges, are probably going to jail...why should it be any different for MILLIONS of ILLEGAL ALIENS who are knowingly buying and using FAKE ID's to commit frauds?
SOME SAMPLINGS OF ARTICLES ON THIS WIDE SPREAD CRIMINAL ACTIVITITY CONCERING ILLEGAL ALIENS:
Solome Melandez Lopez, 25, of the 1200 block of Powell Street is facing records, forgery and identity theft charges.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Police have arrested men accused of selling fake identification to illegal immigrants in the Prince William County. Investigators said Carlos Lopez, Mario Peralto Alatorre and Jovani Hernandez Garcia used the Prince William Plaza shopping center in Woodbridge as a front. Police said the men sold IDs out of their car to anyone with cash.

EAST SPENCER -- The small, red-brick house on Division Avenue served as a popular first stop for illegal immigrants in the Charlotte area. Those who went there left with all they needed to start living the American dream.
At a cost of $180, new arrivals could buy a "green card" and Social Security card. They also could pick up a Mexican or N.C. ID.
Customers could expect fast, quality service from Jorge Cruz Torres. He gladly took phone orders. Walk-ins were welcome. He even offered delivery.

The border must be fixed first.
I am fairly positive that past immigrants who came to my country always used fake ID's. The issue is not a new one, it is way of life here in this country. The rich want and need these immigrants to put money into their wallets, the middle class are being robbed of good paying jobs and the poor are forgotten in this mess.
There 12 to 20 million illegal persons here in the country, now how are you going to deal with that? The american society because of their greed have alot on their dinner plate. #1. energy- I say ride a bike. #2. Medical care-eat right and excercise and stay away from the drug and doctors who are making a mint off of your mental state. #3. The economy- share all the wealth here in the country- it sounds socialistic- but look at your wallet and then look at enrons.#4. Being illegal- half of the country needs them to change their kids diapers and the other half is crying over the stupidty of laws they don't enforce, what it is it the multitude of the stupids?
Fake ID's you can arrest all the people you want for providing fake ID's, it is just like the playing whamo, like McCain said. I say, legalize the illegals use them to fight the wars we get into, then educate them so the country can have an educated mass who will share the wealth.

But the most concerning part, is that the undercover officers carried out the sting by buying these fraudulent documents using the names of two known terrorists!
In one case, the undercover officers even told the ring members that they were buying the documents for people who needed IDs to get on airplanes in Phoenix, and used the name of the terrorist on the show 24.
The purpose of the sting was to see how easily it is to create a false ID and to show that it's not just poor people coming from Mexico who can establish a new identity.
Apparently, anybody can pay $100, wait 30 minutes and get a fake ID.
Fix the border! Otherwise the game continues, and we pay.
This in turn frees up Border Patrol and ICE to begin serious interior enforcement...raids at both work places and in neighborhoods. I guarantee you, a raid in my block would net them at least 60 people.
When I asked him a couple of days ago if the undocumented workers were there, he said that ICE had warned the manager of the factory of an upcoming raid, and that there would be a substantial fine for each illegal employed there. Of course the manager got rid of the illegals before the ICE raid.
I'm sorry, but I really have no confidence in ICE.
Juan is correct in that it's a great cumulation of "stupids."
I can see realizing the laws don't work.
I can see being angry that the laws don't work.
I can see being angry that we don't politically force Mexico to do something about future waves of immigration.
I CAN't see an US vs. THEM on this issue. We aren't bullies like the world says....Are we?
Persecuting a largely uneducated, rural population who cannot possibly compete with our "big guns" of experience and higher education - just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Change the laws - deport criminals - secure the borders -
but don't smack of MLK days with your racial rhetoric and your messages of doom.
Just like our black population and all the other minorities in the U.S., they will fight for the right to be equal.
I followed the links last night THAT YOU YOURSELF used in trying to make your own points....now, if I'd only looked at the information you were referencing, those links make your point...but if you read everything, they do not, and in fact MAKE TWO OF MY POINTS.
I've alledged that ILLEGAL ALIENS are stealing jobs from Americans in our lower rungs of the economic ladder. Your own statistics showed that 1 out of 3 NEW JOBS created since 1995 were filled by ILLEGALS! Further, your statistics showed that ILLEGAL ALIENS had make great gains in the consruction field in North Carolina, filling a full 29 percent of the job slots. Come on, basic intelligence tells you they should not be making those kinds of gains in this field without some kind of advantage over American workers, and that advantage is the cheap wage rates they have brought to the industry.
Which brings us to point two....I've alleged here, and you have denied the fact that illegals are DEPRESSING OUR WAGES by over 200 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR. Your own statistics which I found on your link point out that if we were to deport these illegals, wages in the Construction industry would go up ONE BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR...in short, illegals are getting hired instead of Americans because they are willing to UNDERCUT OUR WAGES.
Where is it fair for Illegals to march across the border, and steal from our nations poor? You want to paint them as innocent victims....they are not innocent, and they are not victims. They know what they are doing, it is VERY DELIBERATE.
Sure doesn't say much for us.....
Bunch of third world, elementary educated, immigrants walking in here and in broad daylight to plan and execute a "VERY DELIBERATE" plan to steal from our poor.
I had no idea Porgie, that you thought we were so stupid.
Thank you for clarifying.

You complain about FAKE ID and propose closing the borders, but have you considered how much of the FAKE ID business might not be attributed to illegals coming across the border and if closing the border will in fact remedy the situation you are concerned/obsessed with? Since you have written.. what.. eight articles?? on this topic now, it seems you would get down to some real research and deliver something more substantial than what I'm reading. Porgie, if you want others to take you seriously, you have to be willing to do the work.

Then we'd have a country full of other immigrants to be angry about!
As to a nation full of immigrants to be angry at....uhhh, Jackie, in case you did not know this, last year alone America allowed over 900,000 people to LEGALLY IMMIGRATE to America, and none of us are MAD AT THEM.
But sill worth a try! :-)
