Last week Afshin Molavi and I discussed Iran, Mossadegh, travel karma and hospitality as they all relate to my trip to Iran and his experiences in Iran.

We also discuss the amount of women in the Iranian Majlis (parliament). I'm still not 100% what the statistic is, there is a significant amount of women in the parliament in a country much smaller than ours.

This is one of the most enjoyable interviews I've yet to do on radio. I think I'm beginning to get the hang of this. Enjoy.

In all this hoopla surrounding Iran what I keep coming away with most is the fact that we have a real opportunity here to engage young Iranians and bring them into the international system in a peaceful way and have them become an important stabilizing force in the region. I was taught that you seize opportunities, not bomb them. All it takes is a little imagination, and patience.

Why is it that every generation seems to want to take the world with them when they leave ? The young people of the world will always represent a chance at peace, but that chance can not be "given a chance" if the elders of the world would rather see the world end than admit that the next generation might do a better job than they did.
