Autumn:
sun's cold rays
stolen flowers from other days
as long forgotten kissses
on my face.
Alone:
autmn orange moon,
the jaundiced eye
in the sky
blind to such as
I
Chrysanthemums:
blooming wit faerie finery
through the night
reflect pale moonlight
and mirrored starlight.
White:
petalled snowflakes
on a delicate stem
dissolve in fragments
in my hand.

so dragged the soaking wet duvet, yup the duvet, not the duvet cover, outside and promptly broke the clothesline but the folks are gone, so went on and hung it up anyway--
ache from butt to back of head from that. and then the window-man came to finish repairing and painting all the windows, so I went after the kitchen cupboards and that took most of afternoon.
So tomorrow I finally get to wash the windows because the frames and sills should be dry and the windows finished after two months. window man is here to finish the last windows...
and maybe on Friday after nearly three weeks housebound with illness, I can go out for a while somewhere now that buttrfly season is over
thanks Ludolf-- thanks for the visit. nice to have old frogs, too. do frogs like tummy rubs? methinks they do.
Here's another :o)
today I have clean kitchen cupboards nd a wonderfully clean duvet that is all soft and smells like it just returned from the cleaners!!!
and today is another drudgery day when I start the windows, but I can only do a couple at a time--too hard on my shoulders and neck/head
and to have a good, well-ordered life, drudgery days are necessary because they bring chaos into order.
thanks many ties over-- especially for the sunshine o your smile...
am thinking frogthoughts at moment -- ah Scarlatti Etudes-- would like to be there and hear them played in person.
but sorry no autumn pics although I know i need some. Not autumn here yet...
and here I am in Czech Republic-- believe me, Bohemia really can look like small bits of Cascades.
