What is love?

I think true love is when you've found your other half. When just speaking and being in the same room with someone makes you light up, holds all the hard times at bay and comforts you in a way nothing else can. I do believe that love also goes through it's trials...it's something you have to work at...but you will always feel that comfort when they are near.

love is a word to let them know you care. falling in love is im caring more each day. love at first sight i cared for him right at first and so did he. If your family is walking out the door you and you say i love you, its letting them know that you care about them and to be careful.

all i know is that my now deceased husband and i feel in love at first site. A friend of mine new him for years and wanted us to meet,well evrytime we had plans to meet something came up,like his aunt died,i had other plans,but finally we did meet and we just clicked,we had so much in common,and the fact that i was a divorced mom of 2 didn't make a difference to him.I was babysitting my friends kids at her apartment and she had called himj to see if he was busy that nite and he wasn't so he came over there,.What he always said about love was from the movie Elmer Gantry,"Love is like the evening and morning star,they are always there .

Very difficult to answer something which can only be felt or sensed. How does one describe an emotion which is beyond anything? It is the total acceptance of the other. Total giving of oneself.

I think that love means something different to each and every one of us. I think first and foremost, there are different KINDS of love: friends, family, and your significant other. Family and friends are a love you can't necessarily explain. With a significant other, however, it's a little more explainable. For me, that type of love means butterflies everytime I see or speak to that person. It means having a best friend. It means growing together and learning together and from one another. There are so many other things, but those are just a few :-) I wanna be in love!

to me love is being there for each other when you need one another.Protecting each other ,listining to each others feelings and staying commited to the person and that person only in a committed relationship.
