Receiver of the gift

Abuser of the gift

First to be tempted

First in shame

First to lust

and give birth in pain.

First to mother

First to cry

First to laugh

First to sigh

First to age

First to die

First to yield

to Satan's lie.

All have followed

where you went before;

All have walked

through the same door.

Reaching

Searching

Feeling pain

Living our lives

in sin and shame

Feeling joy

time and again.

We eat the apple

from the tree

of our choosing,

and then shame ourselves

for all we are losing.

We fall to our knees

We raise our hands

We cry to the Father

again and again.

You paved the way

for women of today

Sister

Mother

Friend

We feel your pain

We feel your joy

time and time again.

Perfect. I remember telling a female friend that I was tired of my mistakes and having to deal with reaping what I sowed, the embarrassment and all. She said ...."Image how Eve felt." I caught my breath and then laughed. YEP. We know what we shouldn't do yet we do it... over and over again. SIGH.

Even Eve would thank you herself! Hitting the nail on the head here Cheryl. A purple heart for all womankind...three cheers for mankind, they are priveleged to share in the gift of women. God gave us to them as a help mate you know. When presented to man and treated properly woman truly is a Gift to man. When a Good man recognizes a woman for who she truly is he gets the response he desires as well. Win/win situation for both parties involved!
