It isn't as though this didn't happen, and that coverage isn't everywhere. Many people remark how much - and how little - has changed in these five years. While reading The 9-11 timeline (a timeline of major events in U.S. history since the September 11, 2001 attacks from Minnesota Public Radio) I had to wonder what people would say hasn't changed?
What has - and hasn't - changed for you in the past five years?

However otherwise, I was laid off at work three years ago directly because in the local area of Minneapolis and St. Paul there were over ten thousand jobs in the mainframe computer programming field that were outsourced to India. But that was actually a good thing for me personally, even tho I can't say the same for thousands of others.
Retirement is good if one can afford it.
The world is indeed smaller now.
My wife is in a panic.....she only drinks diet uncaffienated Coca-Cola.
Have a good trip back home.
