No, he gets on my nerves becaues he is always interupting people. If I didn't have some unexplainable obsession with Shep Smith I'd probably watch a lot less in the evenings - which is when O'Reilly first airs.

Bill is as opinionated and one sided as any of the other "commentators" on Fox and the other cable networks. What makes him worse is that he won't admit it.

I am middle of the road for his show. Sometimes it is good but he is just too "full" of himself and rude. I am watching it now for the 2nd time today, but I do like it and sometimes do now watch it.

Yes, I've been a fan of O'Reilly's for a few years now. I watch his show every night. I do think he's fair and gives both sides, unlike that idiot Keith Olbermann, who never has any conservatives on, ever.

I watch the Factor most every day, but I also watch Tucker Carlson, Lou Dobbs and a few others (I'm a news junky going quietly insane). They all have their flaws and good points.

What is most interesting on the Factor is the viewer's mail at the end who critique the previous day's show. It's amazing how two different viewers can have the exact opposite opinion when they critique the same segment.

Yes, Im a big fan. I have a ticket to his book signing at the Nixon Library 9/28. It's amazing how statements are thrown out there with little or no facts to back them up. Bill does a great service cutting through the smoke.

auntie- he believes they should allow gay marriages/unions, that it is just a matter of time anyway.

When I do catch him, I just like that he asks questions I wish other guys would ask. He doesn't let people slip away without answering. I also like all the work he has done against child abuse, and judges that let these guys get off the hook over and over again.

O'Reilly has probably never told a single truth in his life. He is a right-wing extremist who serves as a PR department for the Karl Rove-Bush six years' worth of lies.

i agree for the most part with what O'Reilly says. there are a few things he says that i may not agree with, but i wouldn't say that he is an extremist. but you probably being (a left wing ) probably can't think of anything better to say that doesn't put someone who disagrees with you down. oh well, it's people with your opinion that just prove what i said was the truth.

Al Franken, on his Air America radio show and in his great book, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, regularly takes O'Reilly's latest statements and proves them to be inaccurate. He, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and everyone else on Fox News lies and lies to fool innocent people into doing the things that hurt them and help the richest. Under Bush, we have given literally one trillion dollars in tax cuts to the richest 1% of Americans. That money comes from YOUR and MY pockets and from the pockets of the poorest 99% of us. Virtually everything on Fox is designed to help the richest 1% steal from you, screw up your environment, take away your rights and make your life worse. Oh, I said I wasn't gooing to argue with conservatives. OK. I'm done arguing. Believe what you want, but you are being suckered by evil people.

I don't like O'Reilly. But Al Franken is an admitted former cokehead who has lost entirely too many brain cells. He may point out O'Reilly as lying - but I wouldn't bank too much on Frankin himself telling the truth.

Why do I always come across these comments long after everyone has left for more recent things ?

FOX news media empire is owned and controlled by special interests that require the conservative intellect (or lack of) to glad hand support their policies ... which are, truth be known, much different than those expressed on their programming.

If you knew the real truth behind their more hidden motives, even the most avid fans would shudder in their awakening to just how duped they had been.

But rest in your false bliss (ignorance can seem like bliss) as you believe only what 'fair and balanced' Bill O tells 'his folks'. It is a mind set folks, you want to be fed your simple stories so that you do not have to think, that takes more effort then you are willing to put out.

When the Blind lead the blind there is not much hope for much else. Just trust your 'leader' they are out for only your protection ... uh huh !?!

Sorry Cortney, maybe a little harsh, but just trying to help you all understand. The message was really meant more for others as you seem rather innocent about all of this.

But there are two schools of thought involved in what our 'media' is all about. FOX is the most far right of them all. FSTV and LINK TV are as far left as I know of, and all of the others that FOX calls the MSM (main stream media) are left only compared to FOX ... as designed by the few corporate owners that mask the overall messages with a mix of truth and falsehood that is basically a disinformation campaign to fool everyone. At the very top of the hierarchy of ownership, they are all on the same team as they divide and conquer us peons to do their bidding.

Don't worry, I did not take that as being harsh. You were just giving your opinion. that is why i like this site. But as I always say, there are two sides to every story and the truth is somewhere in the middle.
