OK ABC's GMA.....why was Paris Hilton the lead story?

I was so disappointed.  Believe me when I say I could care less about the bad behavior of people who contribute very little to this American Life.  Unfortunately, it seems our already strained attention is overloaded with junk like that.  Why can we not keep entertainment news in it's place.  It has no bearing on my life unless I want to watch a show and for that I have TV guide or ET.

Ok wait a minute. I get tired. I work 40 hours a week and immediately after school I go to school 5:30 to 10p and I have my kids and I have to study.

Maybe my case is extreme...HOWEVER I know plenty of folks who are tired after work. How about you?
