something new
something blue
just for you
something sweet
and nice to eat
better for morning tea
than afternoon coffee
and while I'm a dear
you have nothing to fear
about froglegs for breakfast
because I'm not there
Scarlatti Etudes
rhyme with Rachmanninoff Preludes
you promised new music
at least once a week
so love me or leave me
they'll never believe me
that I waste my hours
writing bad poetry
at least it's not maudlin
like Frauenlieben und Leiden
by Robertl Schumann
and indisputably not written in German
I stick to the toughs
like Wagner and Strauss
so you can whistle all my mistakes
right back at me
And although it's not vegetable
and rather more animal,
it's still rather edible
for a frog that is hoppable.
So have it for breakfast with crumpets
and treacle and tea
and when it tickles your lovely green throat
just remember it's a gift from me.

for the blues, I have to find someone who can help me distinguish them, but the brown bands are unique markings
so when I find it, I'll post it to you...
very very excited over the last two flutterby collections in last two days. at least 10 new butterflies
about 400 images in last two days. yee-hoo
and blues mating!!! and a female laying eggs!!!
sorry just logging the frames and tracking them is hours and hours of pencil work right now-- so between rolling about in the local field with the dog-doo and spending hours lsting all those frames down by number-- it's mucho work
they flutter like little slivers of light across the grass--and they are food-oriented-- some like camomille, some only like dill, some like sweet peas and legums
at butterfliesandmoths.org
you can search by area to find out what butterflies might be near you in North America
but there are hundreds of species of blue--and the female is normally brown... you have to be able to count all those tiny little dots and identify minute differences-- so am just learning
an axe is a different thing-- much more merciful to whacked with an axe.
I chose the image for the wing transparency and beautiful cobalt color. So thank you on the compliment.
Anthony, I was laughing my head off-- and maybe in a couple days I will hear about it
cyber express is rather slow over here and connections are quite expensive and usually utterly unreliable. on dsl and it crashes as much as dialup, but that still doesn't explain the Gather site
