The winning book reviewer will be awarded an oceanview stateroom for two on the 5-night Gather.com Book It to Bermuda literary cruise on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas, October 26-31.
To submit your entry, simply complete the following two steps:
1) Join Gather.com and the Book Reviews Group by clicking here
2) Publish your original book review on Gather.com and to the Book Reviews group (for full details see Official Submission Guidelines)
Details:
- Please submit an original book review based on the book of your choice. One entry per person.
- Book reviewers are encouraged to also submit a JPEG image of the book jacket of the book they are reviewing (book jackets can be found on the Internet).
- All entries must be in English and cannot exceed 750 words.
- Entries will be voted on during the entirety of the entry period and then for one week after the entry deadline. The top 10 finalists will then be submitted to our guest judge, who will choose the Grand Prize Winner.
- The Winner will be announced on Gather.com on or around Monday, October 9, 2006.
The Grand Prize Winner will embark on the Gather.com Book It to Bermuda literary cruise on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas. The Book It to Bermuda program will allow guests the opportunity to meet and interact with top-selling authors, literary agents, and other industry experts in one-of-a-kind discussions and receptions. The Grand Prize Winner will also have his or her winning book review featured on the Book Reviews Group page and also on the Gather.com homepage.
