Teachers Talk

I was called for an interview for a teaching job in a local school. Arriving at the office I was waiting when the secretary after attending to a phone call told me 'Madam please proceed to the O Level Block building where you have to meet 'Madam.....

when I reached the office I was greeted by an old colleague. Oh How nice you are here? Are you joining this branch-? Oh I will ask you to guide me on spellings and believe me the Grammar needs correction too'

OH wait please I have not yet received my Instructions-

well there was another familiar figure'OH now we can arrange workshops inside the school'

OH Great we now have a very experienced English person-

I was simply flattered at these remarks but again my mind was thinking - what will be my job description?

teaching-workshops-guidance-counselling-writing reports-counter checking copies assignments?

every person entering the office gave her opinion and suggestion-

OH Dear Education in my country, Teachers need guidance and training; too much mixed talk was going on-

Result

I was a misfit, over qualified, too experienced and not needed full time

Mrs Dar can you come after a week, I think we shall need you for student counselling-

Student counselling ? or Teacher?  I wonder-
