Where the Wild Goose Goes?

Canadian geese

In their black and white splendor

Left the lake honking

A cacophanous 'goodbye'

That sounded like 'see you soon'

I am free from the Miserable constraints of being married to a bird studying scientist who would disapprove of the term canadian geese (akkk! Make the voice stop!) (Okay, she's gone...)

Lovely image and sounds. Delightful, sweet lull of voices yelling goodbye. I choose to REJOICE after reading this poem!
