This week on my farm. I am clearing the fields by hand weeding and weed whacking to make it easier to pick. This is a continual job but also a priority now so I can pick easier. This is the middle of our rainy season and the weeds grow fast this time of year. The rainiest month in Kona is August. This is one of the many reasons coffee grows best in Kona. The rest of this island (Hawaii) and the other islands have their rainy season in the winter. For Kona it's in the summer keeping the developing beans cool and thirst free. www.roosterfarms.comÂ
