Mona you are fabulous s ever-- really incredible. love the peony nd the duck--but don't know wht it is-- do you? is it a merganser?

you have elderberry blossoms there-- 5th picture down-- do you make sekt from them? It's easy to do. and the berries make an incredible syrup.

Yes, Mary I do make sekt (or syrup) Earlier this year I posted a recipe for this. I have two trees right outside the window. When having a cold during winter time, as children we have always been served elderberry toddy. To this day day if my throut feels a little sore I drink a cup or two af this. About the duck I don't know, but it's from my brother in laws duck farm, so I will let you know later. ;O)( he has more 70 different species)

I've always been a fan of the humbly beautiful daisy. And what kind of white duck was that? We don't have them in New England... least not that I've seen (and I've seen a few ducks in my day).

The name of the duck is a Smew (Mergellus albellus). This one is the male. And Mary they are apparently in family with the mergansers.

The photomontage is impressive in and of itself, but then you improvise so well in your jazzy riffs off a color's coded meaning, but also the shadow of that meaning, and its cold quality as snow and ice, and so much more. Monica, this project is superb. After having seen RED, I'm interested if you've seen the French/Polishfilm trilogy of the same titles with colors as your piece (though I thinik it starts out with Blue.)
Anyhow, tak big time!

I think though it's a little bit funny, that I started out doing red and white first, because I began this whole thing colleting pictures of yellow... Must be the dane in me... red/white flag...

So next up will probably be yellow.

But I haven't seen Kieslowskis films, I know of them, that's all..!
