If You Could Have A Special Power, What Would It Be?

As some of you know, I just saw the movie Zoom, with Tim Allen. Yes, it's a children's film, but I went with my daughter and my two grandchildren.

This got me thinking. If I could have one power (other than the ability to guess the lottery numbers! Lol) I would choose the ability to fly. I was sitting at the bus stop this morning watching the birds flying over the trees and imagined that I could soar so high at the blink of an eye. Wouldn't that be awesome? I could loose the feeling of gravity and weight, just lift off the ground, spread my arms and take off anywhere I wanted to go. Of course, I've always wanted to learn to fly a small plane too, so that seems to back up my desire.

Apparently, a radio station took a survey of men and women, asking them what they'd rather be able to do – fly or become invisible. The results overwhelmingly revealed that most men want to fly, while women would rather be invisible.

 

If you could have just one special power like that of a super hero, what would you choose?

I'd like to be able to "beam me up". Can you imagine if you're at a gathering far from home, it's late at night, and you could get in your car and say "beam me up, Scotty", and zap! You'd be in your own driveway.
Especially on cold winter nites...

I'd much rather fly than be invisible. I mean, how many people complain of *feeling* invisible. And, being invible woul dbe good fo rdoing *sneaky* things, but maybe not honest things. Flying, on the other hand, would be awesomely fun.

I would like to induce people of my choice to discover they have an internal reality and introduce them to their own complicated unique creative process.
I'd like to eat what I like and not gain an ounce. That, or teletransportation.. Then I can sleep in as late as I want and still get to work on time.

STeve, I love that. The gift of healing. In the same vein, I would like to have the power to make every body feel good. You know, happy, at peace, tranquil. GOOD.

I thought and thought about a better answer than what first popped into my head. But then I realized I should be honest. This is silly but when I was a kid and I saw 101 Dalmations (at the time race riots were going on and every night we'd see news of people being beaten and having the dogs sicced on them) I thought, what if the races had spotted children when they intermarried? Soon everybody would be spotted and race wouldn't matter any more. Odd, but that is the first thought that popped into my head with your question; the power to cause that spotted solution to racism. Gee maybe I am dehydrated or something. But that was the thought.

James: The idea of this exercise was to make you think, so that's very good. Actually, I like the idea a lot and it sure would solve the problem.

Crazy MP: I don't think you can learn that. It is more of a God-given gift. But it would be awesome!

Wendy: I fly in my dreams too and it's so cool.
If I had a second special power, I'd like to turn all politicians into compassionate people. lol
