Writing....Photography...What is your preference ?

I'm just curious...there are so many topics here on Gather, which I just joined, have many of you been active writers before on other websites or been published? It's really been interesting reading all the fine and varied writing here...I also love the photographs and being able to post mine. Do you enjoy the writing aspect better than the photography or vice versa? Or both?   Hope you don't mind my being nosy. or for a better term curious ...

Personally, I joined to help someone else out, then got addicted almost immediately.

The pictures and ability to comment on them are what drew me in, then I discovered the articles and a ton of excellent folks.

So. I guess my answer is 'both.'

I like both Barbara. I'm not a photographer, but have been inspired to get out the digital camera and experiment. I also love to write.. forgot about my love for that until I found gather. :) Writing is a wonderful creative outlet. :D

I just recieved a digital camera for my birthday, a much better one than I had before and have been having a ball with it and getting to learn how to use it...So right now Photography is big with me...though many of the pictures I've posted here are a bit older and taken with my good old SLR camera...I just happen to have them loaded into my computer so it has been fun to share them with you all..Writing takes more concentration!
