Here is a place for group owners at Gather to publish a list of their groups. http://groupowners.gather.com
Each posting is by a group owner writing ONLY ONE article that contains the links to their groups they own.
The format would be to post your member name, namespace link, name of group, link to group and a brief synopsis.
This will be done for each group you own. Updates will be done through an edit of your article or in the comment section of your article.
Use the link to your article to post in comment sections, use as a signature line in your emails and direct people to your groups in one simple link.

The title of your article should be to the point, like your member name groups owned or something similar. This makes it easier to find the groups owner by each of us within the postings and keeps it organized and ON TOPIC
.
Welcome to the group and let's see which groups are covered and where there are gaps for new groups to form.

I too thing a group tutorial would be wonderful - for example, I tried to set an article in my group as a Feature Article and couldn't figure it out. I asked Connie, since she has done it with her group Be Prepared and she was nice enough to point me to it.....but when I tried to follow the directions, I still can't do it...:-(
I also looked it up in Gather Help, where the instructions are probably quite clear, but I still can't figure it out!

The article is called Groups - The House That Gather Built. P.S. I will be away for a week or two but when I get back I'll do my article for you.
Cami thanks for the article and I will check it out and contact said groups. Feel free to include the link to this article too.
