I don't think that it serves any purpose to continually blame bush for everything that is not going as you think that it should. The September 11th tragety was not Bush's fault. That happened only a few monthes after Bush was in office. It seems like people tend to forget that the Clinton administration was aware that they were planning an attack on the USA, but chose not to take any action on it. There were also many people who had a play in the handling of Katrina, but people again blame the President. I believe that people need to take a look at the actions of the local officials actions during this hurricane. The bottom line is I think that people need to really look at the other officials that did not take appropriate actions and not put the blame directly on the President's shoulders.

Meanwhile, back in reality-land, Bush was in office for 9 full months before he even carried out his FIRST cabinet level meeting on counter terrorism. Clinton did so every morning. But, as you said, it's not Booshie's fault.
Katrina is not the fault of little cheerleader boy Georgie, but the utter failure of the federal government to respond is. Can't push that one off on Clinton. Bush is the one who chose to strip away FEMA's cabinet level status, merge it with DHS, and privatize it.
The bottom line is that the POTUS is ultimately responsible for everything that happens in this country that isn't a direct act of God, bad or good. It may or may not be entirely his fault, but whatever happens short of acts of God ARE the president's ultimate responsibility. If he couldn't handle the responsibility, he should never have stolen the elections in the first place.
ALWAYS BLAME CLINTON!
Because YOU say so? Sorry. Bush is responsible for far more of the problems in this country (and the world) that his bootlicking worshippers will every be able to admit, unfortunately.
"and as for the stolen elections , when the elections were held, America spoke loud and clear and that is the bottom line."
That's right. America voted for Gore. Thanks for reminding us.
We discussed the 9/11 Commission Report at great length in the mpr.org web forum when it was released. That report put FAR more blame on Bush for the terrorism mess than it did on Clinton. It was Clinton who warned Bush of OBL's plans which were ignored by the latter.
The current rise in Islamic radicalism has been fueld by Bush's treasonous war of imperialism in the Middle East. Clinton had nothing to do with that.
Disagree. Katrina proved that both local and Federal Government is inept. Do not rely on the Government to save you. You can only rely on yourself.
There is plenty of blame to go around for Katrina. The failure of Katrina is one reason why I do not buy into the 9/11 conspiracy that the US government did it (as proposed by Clark and John Knight).
The premise behind 9/11 conspiracy theory is that someone is in control, effective, and brilliant. What Katrina proves is that no one is control. There are too many events with uncontrollable factors. Bush is going along for the ride, holding on and hoping for the best.
Read The Pentagon Papers and think it over.
Also there are now 47 million Americans with no Health Care Insurance at all, and under Clinton there were 35 million without Health Care Insurance.
The sacrifice for the war in Iraq I see.
Bush has had the opportunity to change that. He refused to do so. At least Clinton tried but was thwarted by Republicans.
Americans sacrifice while Israel and the wealthy Republican elitists rejoice.

??????????
anyways, for those who decry "socialized health care", bear in mind that it works quite well in Israel with your tax dollars paying for it
it can work just as easily in the USA
I have paid enough money over the years to support Zionist aggression and health care coverage for those who support imperialist aggression. {I do, however, acknowledge that many Israelis condemn Zionist aggression and imperialism}. Now it's time for people like me to get our money back!
