Vanilla Refrigerator Cookies

1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2-3 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Mix all together. Roll in wax paper or foil. Put in
fridge or freezer till firm. Slice thin. Bake at
375 10-12 minutes. Watch closely!

Fran- the recipe calls for them to be baked at 375 for 10-12 minutes
