Chicken and Dumplings
2 1/2-3 lbs. chicken
1 can chicken broth
2 cups flour
1/4 cup margarine
3/4-1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste

Boil chicken till tender. Bone the chicken. Add broth.
Make dumpling dough, using all ingredients except the
first two. Roll dough thin, drop into boiling broth
and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Add
sweet milk if dumplings are too dry.

Another quickie I have used is pinching apart frozen biscuits that haven't been baked and using them as the dumplings. Turns out pretty good!
