King of Odes
Strokes with his pen
She's sighing
Whispers again
She's melting
King of Odes
Passionate one
She's spellbound
Poetry spun
She's his now
King of Odes
Lover divine
She feels him
Taking his time
She needs him
King of Odes
Kisses caress
She's smiling
Lips that undress
She's open
King of Odes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a man
Speaks with his pen
Of passion's love undying
His words beguile
I have to smile
For as I read I'm sighing
He speaks of love
From heav'n above
With carnal words which linger
His rhymes of bliss
Read like a kiss
I'm wrapped around his finger
Oh poet sweet
Each verse a treat
So passionate so tragic
Can he not tell
I'm in his spell?
Enraptured by his magic
Within his lines
Seduction rhymes
Passion song raw and yearning
Chivalry pure
Poetry's cure
Soft words for which I'm burning
Tho we've not met
I love him yet
He's ravished me completely
Eros I read
Words fill my need
Tenderness sung so sweetly
even tho we have not met
perchance a song got sung
when your bells first rung
but for me you kept so quiet
to others you are a riot
while you continue to tingle
as your words mingle
in your reach to the world
making me dance and twirl
while I follow life's roads
you called me King of Odes.
So sweet of you, Cat. Thank you! Hugs
the photo is the album cover of Led Zepplin's Houses Of The Holy album. It opens into a gorgeous panoramic and the inside is another cool shot.
Richard, thanks! It did get me rather worked up writing this!
Cheryl and J., Spencer inspires me. LInking his poetry was only fitting.
Spencer,
